For window treatments, you could go with a bamboo roll up shade or wood blinds. Maybe something like this. They are all from JCPenny.

Or something darker like this

or

You can do sheers or scrafs with any of these shades.

Re: I need bedding and window treatment help!!

OK, this is good. Maybe you could find something that has one of the wall colors in the comforter with a darker color like chocolate in it. Maybe do the window treatment with a little darker wood tone then your furniture. This way there are different colors in different tones to look at, not just bright and beachy. Unless that is what you want....bright and beachy.

Re: I need bedding and window treatment help!!

you could be brave and do all-white linens and use those colors as accents. (I personally would never let DH on an all white bed though, LOL)

maybe this would work?

This one is really pretty. Beachy yet bringing in other colors. Then you can introduce similar colors into your window treatment.

Hope these help.

ETA: These are all from JCPenny.

I really like the one you just posted. Very pretty. Def can work for your room. All of the bedding and window treatments I posted are from JCPenny. GL with your room. Take pics when it's down. It should be beautiful!

Re: I need bedding and window treatment help!!

I wouldn't do anything with color - You have enough color on the walls -
I'd stick to white or cream colored bedding and light airy window treatments the same color ........Maybe add in some brown or a deeper blue or green pilliow or sheets for contrast .......

But I think incorporating those colors in the bedding will be overkill -

Re: I need bedding and window treatment help!!

I wouldn't try to match the colors on the walls to the bedding. I'd go with a clean white look for bedding and window treatments. I'd also accent with some chocolate brown.

I never wanted to do white for that reason too (we have a cat) and fear that it would get filthy. But duvets are great in that they are so easy to clean b/c you just unbutton them and throw them in the wash. And with white it's easy to get any stains out with bleach.

Just an FYI b/c I think light color bedding would go great in that room.
