I need budget friendly gift help

We are on a super tight budget, but would still like to get a little something for MIL from DD. Mil helps us out a ton. Unfortunately we can’t really spend for the $20.00Chat Icon

I have been looking on site after site and can’t seem to find anything. I haven’t checked etsy yet. Any suggestions would be great. I would like the gift to say grandma, or say grandma somewhere on it.

Try this site http://www.personalcreations.com/ lots of great personalized items.

What about making a photo album/scrap book with pics of your DD. I do this for MIL every year as part of her Christmas gift and she loves it.

does your MIL get manicures? You can get her a GC for mani/pedi?

Not sure how old your DD is but if you have 1000 pamper points you can cash in for a Shutterfly photobook (8x8).

I make these for the grandparents and they love them!

Re: I need budget friendly gift help

Sean is only 18 months, so it is messy - but I bought frames and white matting - I had him 'decorate" the matts - finger paint, crayons, whatever - and then I framed his picture with them

Last year one of the gifts I gave my mom was a multi-picture frame for the wall with DD's best pics so far in it....DH hung it up for her and she LOVED it!

We might have to do that this year!

We got a tshirt that says "#1 Grandma" and comes with paints to put hand prints from DS. Check out the craft section of Walmart--they have a ton of gifts you can personalize yourself.

I also did shutterfly albums. With a coupon code they were like $10, and look really nice!

Re: I need budget friendly gift help

I would also suggest a framed picture of DC and MIL-Kohls has a lot of them. Maybe some scratch offs?

dd is almost 15 months.

I think a homemade gift from DD would be best and the most touching..

They have calendars and planners for 10-20$ from snapfish (and I'm sure every other site).

I got a photobook once as a present and LOVED it.
