I need hair help from Mom's who's DD won't wear clips
My DD has bangs right now and I really don't care for them. But she won't leave any type of clip in her hair.
So how to I keep her hair from going in her eyes? Any suggestions???

Wish I could help but I have the same problem with DD. She doesn't seem to care that her hair is in her eyes.

We keep DD's bangs trimmed just above her eyes. DD doesn't like anything in her hair. She told us the other day that she didn't want her hair braided because "I'm a girl, not a boy!". To her, long, loose hair is for girls, and anything that restricts the hair, or makes it appear shorter, is for boys....

DD#1 had bangs until she was about 2, that is when she started leaving clips in and I grew out her bangs. I plan to do the same with DD#2 she is now 16 months and not a fan of clips and ponies.

I use poly bands...clear little rubberbands. they're the only thing she will ignore (95% of the time) while in her hair. Makes her look like Pebbles or Alfalfa...don't love the look entirely but I like it more than the alternative (cutting bangs).

Whatever you do, I'd keep trying the clips every day. Everyone's seen how much hair DD has (since before she was 1), so we just kept putting the clips back in when she'd take them out (obviously they were out for naps, in the car, etc)...she pretty much learned to ignore them.

thanks for the suggestions. I guess I'll keep trying and hope one day she'll leave them in. She loves to walk around holding and playing with them, but hates them in her hair

I have the same problem with my DD some day she lets me put stuff in her hair. I too love those rubberbands they sell them in Walmart in a pack of 5 with different colors. My DD also wont let hair hair be cut I have to do it while my husband holds her arm down.
