I need help with our 1st vacation!
We're going upstate in 2 weeks from Mon-Fri (about 2 hours away). I feel so crazy trying to make a million lists of everything I need. We're going to a family resort and wal-mart is literally in walking distance so Idk why I'm so worried. I'm really trying not to overpack at all. I just have some questions though.
I have frozen homemade babyfood. If I travel with it in a freezer, can I just store it in the refrigerator and let it all defrost once I get there? (In seperate containers of course)
Should I bring any other outdoor gear other than a carriage? They have highchairs in the dining room, I'm just bringing a floppy cover. We're going to be at the pool most of the day and there is shade so I wont need the tent although I'm thinking of taking it just in case.
Any other tips or suggestions for our 1st vacation? My whole family is going, DH might not be able to go so I will feel like a single mom for a week and i think thats why I'm more nervous than I should be.
I forgot to put DS will almost be 6 months. TIA!

Is he sitting up on his own? Maybe a bouncy seat or bumbo? I'm not sure about the baby food thing..... Maybe a little blow up pool if you don't want him in the big pool the whole time.

Swimmy diapers , inflatable boat, water camera ( Walgreens usually has those), mosquito net for the stroller ?

Thanks Randi! 
He's not sitting unassisted yet for long periods of time, just a few mins. I do have one of those chairs with a tray that he likes to play in that I could bring. He's too big for the bouncer and the bumbo. I do have a mosquito net, rain cover, swim diapers, and a little canopy tube for the pool. I almost forgot to pack the tube! Thank you for your help!

When we went away, and DH drove (DS and I flew) we brought:
Bouncy Seat
Jumperoo (now we could go away without it but, at the time, all he wanted to do was jump)
Tube
Snap N Go
Carseat
Diapers
Formula
Clothes
Food
A few toys
A couple of blankets
