I need opinions and suggestions
September is my sister's wedding. The ceremony starts at 6:30 and the cocktail hour starts at 7pm. The wedding will run till about 11pm. Jacob is in the wedding...he is going to be one of the ring bearers. I just dont know what to do because by 8pm he gets very cranky and wants to go to sleep. Has anybody had a situation like this where there DC will be out late? Jacob will not make it past 8pm and will be sooo cranky. I dont want to have to leave the wedding early and I know that nobody else in my family will want to either. Any suggestions??? TIA!

Willl he sleep at the reception? We put Maddie in a stroller & she slept at my SIL's wedding.
You could hire a babysitter to pick him up.

If you can get a babysitter, have them pick him up when he is ready for bed.

The stroller idea sounds good if he will do that. Or can you put a pack & play in the bridal suite for him? I guess that would only work if you take turns sitting in there with him.

maybe the sitter could hang in the bridal room with him as well. That way no one has to leave.

Re: I need opinions and suggestions
stroller is your best bet if he'll sleep during the reception.
I also know someone that had hired a babysitter to stay in the bridal suite with the kids.

My sister had her reception at a hotel ballroom and hired a sitter to watch all the little ones in a room up stairs... I also have a friend who rented a room at a nearby hotel with a sitter.
