I need some non-labor vibes
It seems like everyone always wants their babies to arrive early, but I really want mine to wait until Wednesday or later. The due date is next Saturday (11/4). Dh is coming home tonight after being away for work since Tuesday morning. The furniture is being delivered tomorrow.  And we have a few more things to finish up around the apartment this weekend. Plus my doctor is away until Monday night. Dh travels alot for work, but will be local the next month, except for Tuesday - he'll be 3 and a half hours away by car. I also didn't really want a Halloween baby (not sure why, I just don't). Last night I started feeling lots of cramping very low when I went to bed. It seems to have stopped today. As of Tuesday at the doctor, I'm 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced, so I think that's pretty good. He said the baby was still high and may not drop until I go into labor.
So, please keep your fingers crossed that this baby comes after Tuesday. Of course, I'm probably jinxing myself and now the baby will be late, which is ok as long as it's not too late! Don't you wish we could schedule these things??

Thanks, ladies. I have a feeling that this baby might actually listen to me and wait until next week (or later.) I've been taking it easy just in case. It's fun to be lazy!!
