Whenever I send flowers or a basket to someone in a different state I google a florist in that area. I call that florist and place the order. I like the personalized service that I get and I also like using a local business.
One time I called and the florist happened to know my aunt, since she was a longtime customer, she told me what flowers my aunt loved and made a beautiful arrangement. I know the chances of that happebning are very slim but I thought it was pretty cool.
