I need washer/dryer recommendations!
Looks like my dryer is dying. My Whirlpool set is- no joke- 20 years old.
Please give my your recommendations for front loading washer and dryers!

love my whirlpool duet...but we had space restrictions so we had to go w them b/c they are a bit smaller. you should buy soon though, LIPA offers a $50 rebate for most ENERGY STAR washers and it is going to expire at the end of the month!!

Run a search on here, you will find a ton of threads on the various models people have, including reviews and consumer report listings.
Personally, we bought the whilpool cabrio set and we are very happy with it. It's HE and it's upright!

I got the Whirlpool Cabrio set and I love it. It has such huge capacity I do much fewer loads. It's great!

Damm too bad you didn't mention this a month ago. There were tons of sales on washers and dryers during Black Friday weekend.
I picked up the front loading Maytag steam Washer and steam Dryer for $599 each at Home Depot on Black Friday. I doubt they are still that cheap but you can check.

We bought a GE Profile set a few years ago and no complaints here! Got the set in Plessers in Babylon who beat everyone else's prices!
