i ran my first 5k......
and i'm addicted!!!!
i ran the 5k in asbury park, nj yesterday morning and finished in 31:45. i was sooo happy with my time! i thought it would take me longer because i'm not used to running outside.
i already looked up other 5k's in the area and can't wait! just wanted to share

Yay congrats! I can't run indoors after running outside--I hate the dreadmill now 
It is addicting and as you do more and more races, you see your time improve. There is no feeling like it!

Just be careful, the race habit can get a bit expensive.

and yes i can see how they get expensive. i saw a race i wanted to run from brooklyn, through the battery tunnel and it ends at the world trade center... but it's $50. idk if i'm going to do it yet but i would love to run it!
