First of all, congratulations!.
Secondly, I also bled with this pregnancy. If you do a search for my name, you will find a few posts about it (I don't remember the name for it) but for me, it was basically a clot that was below the placenta that in most pregnancies gets absorbed. In my case, it passed. I bled for 5 weeks! It was as heavy as a period and even scarier. In the first few days, I took so many pregnancy tests that DH banned me from going to the store to buy any more. It is so frightening but please know that you are not alone in this I was on pelvic rest (nothing strenuous, no sex and no exercise). Of course, as a SAHM, I still had to take care of DS. That was the scariest part for me, that possibly lifting DS and taking care of him could possibly harm the unborn baby. Well, I am now 19 1/2 weeks and the baby is growing nicely and has a very strong heartbeat.

Ooh, I just remembered! It is called Subchorionic (sp?) bleeding. I was very nervous so I did a lot of research on this.

This is what I was thinking. My friend just had this. I am home with DD a lot too so I worry about taking care of her too. DH is home for today until we find out what's going on.

Seriously though, feel free to FM me if you want to chat or just need a shoulder to lean on. It is so scary, especially when you have had a successful pregnancy in the past. I was told, don't worry unless you start to cramp. Then, of course, everything I felt I kept thinking, is that a cramp? It really is all enought to make you crazy!

I bleed for the first 3 months of my pregnancy and was put on bedrest but that was it... I am sure you will be fine!!!
