I rescued a cat last night!
by my job there are alotof ferrals and strays.
we've been seeing them alot less, especially the ones we regularly see....
because people are poisening them 
well last night i got off i saw there was this 'new' cat and he was just sitting in the middle of the street and some drunkos were trying to scare him so i got mad at them and then i brought him out a cut up hot dog to eat.
so he was more interested in getting pet and scratched then eating. but once he felt safe with me he started to eat. so then i got water. same thign wanted love and then ate more and drank more.
so i went inside and talked to my friend sam who was working and we agreed we should bring him in and see how he likes it.
so we did. he LOVED it! loved the people. was totally comfoy (although he did mark one of the bar mats)
just chillin in hte window.
so we called my boss, he came by and said yeah, we could keep him. lets just give it about a week to make sure he is going to stay and work out and then they'll get him fixed and a collar and all of that stuff.
so exciting!!!!!!!
i named him Hank after Hank Williams Jr. lets see if the name sticks.

good luck. i hope he does well...i'd take him to the vet though...most ferrel cats have fleas and worms. our cat was a rescue, she was born behind an industrial park and she had to be dewormed.
sounds like a sweetheart!!!!

 for taking in a stray. I agree with the above. He will need to go to the vet.
