No, no -- to my knowledge, it's not a private joke. It's just a super LONG azz thread that was started very innocently (by christy).
Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

Actually It started as a legitimate question. For some reason Jen & Marcella (I think) found it hysterical & make a huge long joke thread out of it. It went on for years.
