I swear my job is going to land me in the hospital

I have gestational diabetes that is well controlled with diet but I have also had "blips" in my blood pressure (as well as a higher than normal level of protein) so I go in every few days for non stress tests to make sure my BP is at a normal range and that the baby is OK. My BP has not been consistently high but it has its little creeps here and there.

I notice though that when the insanity at my job picks up my BP picks up right along with it. Last Friday at my 37 weeks appointment my OB told me to get ready for a possible induction if they start to see my BP climb and to get my bag ready. Today I had my non stress test and my BP was normal (Thank God) so I go home to work (I am working from home for the most part).

As soon as I jump on my first call there is nothing but issues/problems and fires that I need to take care of and sr management breathing down my neck. I started to get dizzy and I check my BP and sure enough its getting high.

I was suppose to interview our potential pediatrician today but felt so sick I didn't go and asked DH to go alone (he took the day off).

I am now refusing to check my email and am going to pretend that I went to the consultation so I can take this hour for myself and settle down. It gets me so mad that I let my job affect my health which in this case affects my baby...

Aww, you poor thing!
Similar thing was happening to my friend and finally her doctor said enough and pulled her out of work a few weeks early because that was definitely attributing to the up/down BP. Any way you can do this?

My job is getting very stressful for me as well. My co-workers and bosses have been so wonderful but their are times I just want to pack up and walk out I am hoping I can talk to my doctor and see if he write something up that I can go out of work a little early.
