I think I may be getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome..
Figures, I don't get it my entire massage career, but now that I'm not working...
My hands have been going numb, like pins & needles, and my left wrist area has been hurting a bit & feeling kind of weak, like I need a wrist adjustment.
I know this is a fairly common occurrence in pregnancy, I only hope it goes away after I have the baby!

I had it too while PG (I'm also an LMT & never got it before) -- I was so afraid it would stay, but rest assured, I've been fine since.

My cousin had this and it went away a few months after she gave birth. She also developed it in her last month. Her doctor gave her some type of arm guard to wear.

Very common. This scares me because I'm a Dental Hygienist and I need my wrists daily. I've had problems with CTS in the past but thankfully it hasn't bothering me this pregnancy ...yet...
BTW the lamp as your avatar from the xmas story made me laugh.........such a classic!!

Yes, I had it with my first pregnancy. I wore a wrist guard. It went away right after I gave birth. I am sure yours will too

I got so bad at the end of my pregnancy. It went away around one week after having my baby.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I have it on a regular basis, so I know how painful and annoying it can be I would suggest getting a brace for it. It helps alleviate some of the pressure.

Yeah you think I would- One of my good friends is a chiro, I just never seem to get around to seeing him. He keeps telling me to come in too.

I had it while PG (since about the 5th month) and it's gone now! YAY! I had it for a few days after delivering my son, but it's gone now. I am 2 weeks 1 day post partum.
