I think I may take the plunge and....
offer to host Christmas Day for JT's side of the family My side of the family only really has a big day on Christmas Eve. We do the whole Italian thing, but JT's family only celebrates Christmas Day. Well, I'm thinking I might want to have his family, which is just his sister, her hubby, their daughter and JT's parents over for Christmas. I'm not sure if I should offer this because I might murder someone in his family, but I think I'm going to do it anyway. I like to torture myself, I guess. So if I go missing after the holidays, it's possible I'm in jail for the murder of one or all of JT's immediate family members

Here's the main reason why I want to have them here. JT has to work on Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day. If I have Christmas Day here, then he gets home about 7:45, so we could just have a late dinner. If we have it at his sister's house, OUT ON THE NORTH FORK, then he won't get there until 8:45-9:00 and he will miss dinner. I explained this to his sister, and she got all pissy on me before If they won't come here, I'm not going there. I'm just going to my aunt's house and screw them! God forbid they make life easier for someone other than themselves. ARGH!
