I think I'm free!
I was told today after another fight broke out in a classroom not to come into work tomorrow. I actually came in today to work after taking 2 "mental health days" wanting to quit, realizing my job is too unhealthy of an environment for me. Someone told me don't quit wait it out, well I only had to wait it out til the end of the day. So i start my vacation a day early...thinking damn am I finally free of this place?
Well i THINK im free, they said we don't need your services for tomorrow, we will call you monday and let u know if we need you then.
Well honestly you can take your ghetto school and shove it where the sun doesnt shine!
Tomorrow will be spent calling up the UFT and running errands dealing with my whole situation but by 3 oclock imma be enjoying my vacation with a drink in hand.
I fell oddly happy about this, like theres been a big weight lifted off me, finally.

Anyway though, best of luck to you! This school truly does NOT sound like a good fit.

well i literally worked in the ghetto, where kids as young as 5 years old screamed obscenities and jumped other kids and their parents didnt care as long as kids were defending themselves
def not a good fit for me, i was just trying to stick it out
