I also had this vibration thing that went under dd's crib mattress.... it had a sensor that sensed motion if dd woke up and it started the vibration that often put her back to bed. Maybe its worth a try. It wasnt too expensive if I remember correctly.

while my friend's daughter was sleeping through the night at 3 months, my ds did not start to sleep better until about 7 months old... I know this is not what you want to hear right now, but I have been where you are right now... it gets better for some babies it just takes longer Chat Icon Chat Icon hugs Chat Icon Chat Icon

My DS didn't sleep through the night until the week after he turned 1. Sometimes you can just try everything, every book, everything that worked for everyone else and it just doesn't for your DC. My DS woke up to eat at least 2x a night until we weaned him of bottles at 1 year.

This described DS to a T! The only thing that helped was letting him sleep on his belly at 4 mts....

if misery loves company, I'll make you feel better.

Erik's 6 weeks old, and hasn't slept more than 2 hours at a time. I'm up every 1-1.5 hours with him. I keep hoping he grows out of this soon!

Have you tried putting him down a bit later? I don't think at this age my boys went to bed until about 9 - 10 oclock and they would sleep till about 5 ish.

Good Luck, waking up a few times a night is no fun for anyone.
