That would bug me, especially since everyone invited would know I am a teacher and many of them would be teachers as well! The thing is, wouldn't she have gotten someone to proof it for her?

TOTALLY depending on her personality, I would correct it and frame it corrected. (at the shower).. 
but there are a rare few that this can be done to that wouldnt get offended.

I would be bothered, but you know what...most people (even if they know the correct usage) won't pick it up - most of the time they look for the date and time and the invite is stashed away.

ETA: During our PTA Teacher appreciation week one year, the PTA gave us stickers that read "Your Appreciated!" ugh
