I think something is wrong.... UPDATED in my first post
I noticed a very very slight twinge of bllood the other night and worried. Called my friend who is an Obsetrics nurse and told me not to worry.
Well, since yesterday I have been experiencing cramping (thought it may the constipation I have been experiencing sorry TMI) and this morning the cramping is more intense and bleeding is similar to the very start of a typical period.
Has anyone had this? I just don't have a good feeling. I am calling my doc.
*Update:
I went in to see the doc. She says the bleeding should continue to be monitored but says it is a good sign it has not been heavy and there is no intense cramping. She did tell me she does not feel as if any ectopic has occured.
She did see a yolk sac on the screen (yay) and a tiiiiiiiiiny little smidgen of the fetus. She assured me to relax but due to the earliness of my pregnancy ( I am probably closer to five weeks and not the 6 plus I suspected) it is a waiting game for now. So all appears to be good for now but needs to be monitored for any change. She said next week she will see a rounder baby and probably be able to get a heart beat.
That is something to hopefully look forward to and I am looking forward to that moment when it comes!!! So all in alll, I am a much calmer me this afternoon but I am sure I will be back to my ole worried self by tomorrow!!!!!

I would call the Dr. just to be on the safe side about the cramping.
I bled (red) all the way to 12 weeks.....so it can be normal.

Thanks everybody for the support. Like I said, the bleeding is similar to the start of a period, the period- like cramping is what is worrying me more.

I had spotting at 6-7 weeks and cramping feelings for most of the first trimester. Were you able to speak to your dr?

I had cramping and spotting a few times during the first trimester. All is okay now.
Rest, put your feet up, drink lots of water and call your doctor.

i have had some bleeding on and off for a week. You have to call your doctor to let them know. Is the blood only when you wipe after going to the bathroom? Or is is actually getting on your underwear? What color is it?
also I had some cramping too with the bleeding. I went to the doctor that day, the sono came back fine. He said the cramping was normal, uterus stretching. Would you say its painful cramping? Or just period like cramps?

Same here - I spotted from about week 7 to 11, with cramping throughout.
