I think the fatigue is starting to get to me...
I've been feeling irritable as heck!!! I'm tired, and I cant take the crying and the breastfeeding...lI hope this isnt the start of something worse!! Anyone else feel like this? DD is 1 month ETA- when I say crying I mean DD"s... not mine...lolol... I luckily havent been weepy... feeling like I may snap at any moment, yes, weepy- not so much. LOL

Par for the course, unfortunately. Is there anyone who can come give you some time to nap and relax? It's just rough in the beginning, no two ways about it. It's a life-changing event and it takes time to adjust. Definitely see if someone can come help you out so you can rest up.

Hang in there! It's all very overwhelming in the beginning, especially if you're breast feeding. The sleep deprivation can really take it's toll. Try to find a few minutes to take a couple of deep breaths & refocus. Try to get out for some fresh air during this beautiful weather.

Awww.. hang in there- the first month is hell with the lack of sleep, changing hormones, adjustment to this new life, breastfeeding(which is tiring ALL on its own). It does get tons better, I promise

Re: I think the fatigue is starting to get to me...
Everyone is different... My first month with DS was hell... never slept wanted to just die... the second month got better, you learn, I started to take naps when he was sleeping and it helped.. Now at 15 weeks old he never wants to sleep and now just the past 3 nights he actually slept thru the night before that he was getting up at midnight to eat and at 3-4am to eat then again at 6am for the day... Just try and hang in there....

Nearly all of us felt that way -- having a newborn is similar to torture in a lot of ways! The sleep deprivation alone would make you irritable! It gets better, hang in there!

A good night sleep will make all of the difference, I am glad you were able to get one.
The first few months were the hardest for us.
