I thought all chain restaurants had to post their nutritional info now?
I'm supposed to go to Applebees for lunch, so I went to the website to look up some info and all I could find was:
Where can I get nutritional information on Applebee's® items?
We provide nutritional information on all of our Weight Watchers® items, including fat, fiber and calorie counts and Weight Watchers Points® values. We do not provide nutritional information on other Applebee's® items - with approximately 1,900 locations in the U.S. alone there are many different vendors, which makes it extremely difficult to obtain nutritional information for our items.

The nutritional information can be obtained by going to any location and asking for it.

But that's not what it says.
I will test that theory at lunch though.

Re: I thought all chain restaurants had to post their nutritional info now?
After NY tried to regulate the display of calorie counts on the menu boards and menus - some vendors removed all nutritional info so they wouldnt need to publish it in the alternate locations.

I will test that theory at lunch though.
It says that the ingredients are different in different locales. If this is true then they can't post the nutritional information on the website because some ingredients may be fatter than others.
I am sure if you ask for it they will give it to you. Otherwise I think they would be breaking some sort of law.

I believe the law was only passed in NYC.
