I thought I saw the faintest line.

I POAS this morning. It looked like a very faint line. I showed DH and asked if he can see the line. He said "no, just give it some time hun."

Now I'm embarrased to even post this. I will test again tomorrow because I am not giving up till AF shows. Actually, tomorrow I have an appt with my dr. If they give me a blood test, how long do I have to wait to get the results?

Update: I owe it to Target to update my post. It wasn't a false positive. I am PG!!

Did the faint line show up within 5 minutes? Was it a light color line- (like shadowed pink) or was it grey. Grey or colorless is usually a evaporation line.


So if it had a little color in the shadow line.... that is a great thing!!!! Then a line is a line.

I used the TARGET Up & up brand. The lines are blue so its hard to tell if its a shade of gray or shade of blue but the last two times I POAS there was no evaporation line. I tried taking a picture but the line doesnt show. In fact the line got fainter by the time I got my camera out. But the line did show up immediatelt, like within the first minute. I will pick up a digital tonight and hold me pee. I can't wait till tomorrow morning. lol

my (ex)DH could NEVER see the line! It wasnt until the digital test came back "pregnant" that he "saw" something. LOL yet I saw the faintest line right from 9DPIUI!!!

Go get the FRER....it's a for sure with that one. But I used the dollar tree brand and it was grey. That night I took a Frer and I got my line.

The first test I took had a faint line and DH was like there isn't anything, your imagining it. Then I tackled him against the bathroom wall & made him look at it at different angles, and he was like oh man there is a line.

First Response Early Results there are regular First Response and then the Early Results one. Get the ER one. Good luck! I help my pee for 5-7 hours and tested in the afternoon. It is hard but if you keep busy you can do it.

FYI - when I first POAS, the line was sooooooo faint that I almost tossed the test in the trash. Some of the line tests are sooooooo sensitive that they take a while to be really positive whereas the digitals come up more quickly. I took a CBE digital 45 minutes later and it was immediately positive!!!

I would test again with another test, different brand. GOOD LUCK and lots of dust to you!

Well, I went to the dr. today and they did a test and it came back negative. She said it's still early to test since my cycles are so irregular.
I also did some reviews on the Target HPT. Horrible reviews! A lot of ppl reported false positives on this brand. How is that possible? Don't they know that the 2WW is so cruel?

your not out yet i would re-test at home w/ FMU in a day or so with another brand

lucamon, I just saw on your other post that you're 11 or 12DPO, that can be too soon for the hormone to register. Definitely keep testing!

A few months ago, before we officially started TTC, I took a Target brand, the one with the blue lines. I got a false positive on that. The line looked a little funny, thinner than a normal BFP would have been. I looked it up on peeonastick.com and it's pretty common for those tests.
