If you thought you saw someone from lif

on the street but wasn't sure, would you approach them?

I think i saw a girl from lif on the train tonight but i wasnt sure if it was her or not, but she did look a lot like her.

I wanted to ask her but i was too embarrased because what if it wasn't her?

I've seen girls on here in public when I've known that its them and haven't said anything.

So far I have always approached them. Last time I did, it turned out that I knew the girl from someplace else but I was right that I knew her.

I've been approached many times - I think it is so nice of people to do that! I've never noticed anyone myself otherwise I would probably say hello -- but I'm too clueless most of the time to notice lol!

I've seen a couple of ladies, but didn't say anything.

One person and their DH were regulars where I work, but I still wont say anything.

I could never approach someone like that, especially if I am not 100% sure I am too shy. I saw someone about 2 weeks ago at a play group , I am pretty sure it was someone from LIF bc I recognized the kids from pics :) I wanted to ask but I was too embarrassed

Nope, I wouldn't approach someone.

I did meet an LIW bride at Lillette's a couple of years ago when I was trying on wedding gowns. However, I didn't recognize her picture - I just overheard her talking about LIW.

You could always FM the poster you think you saw to ask...

In your situation probably not. ONLY bc you werent sure. I would ONLY approach someone if I was 100% sure. Usually for me its a mommy from parenting and I can usually get it 100% bc of seeing their child as well.
With your situatio, you were on a train with SOOOO many people. I bet there are a TON of look alikes out there. I'd be too embaressed if it wasnt them. I do think you should FM and ask though.

I saw ang-rich at the mall one day with her dh and ds. I was too embarrased to say anything. and theres an Lif member that lives right around the corner from me(twinboys425). Ive seen her many many times, and i still feel stupid screaming out the window, "look its me twobabies", LOL.

I would but I haven't had the opportunity. I've been recognized by several people when I lived in NY and approached by them. I'm really good with faces, but horrible with where I know them from so i'm not sure i'd know the person was from LIF right away.

I get so embarassed. Diva and I were in a class together for months before we approached each other. We were both 05 brides on LIW too! It was kind of funny.

I saw Jax430 once in NYC and I knew it was her but I was too chicken to approach her - then we FMd about it and it was her - and I wish I had stopped and said hello!

I saw KeithHernandez at the mall once so I turned around and ran the other way.
I probably WOULD approach an LIF'er if it were someone I had an online "rapport" with!

If I definitley 100% recognize a mommy and child from Parenting, then, Yes, I say something...Example...I ran into Liza (Lipglossjunky) last night.
I have also seen her at GTGs, so, I knew 100% it was her and her DS.

i only did once (hi Deb ) because i was 100% positive it was her. i wouldn't go up to someone i just *thought* was from LIF - i would have to KNOW, and in that case, i would!

I approached one person in BRU and was right. Once I was approched as I left Chili's

ETA: Once at a b-day party (they were at the other party) there was a room full of gals and a bunch came over to say hello to me

nope, i wouldn't say anything.

VickiC was behind me in line at the tanger outlets, and i was 99 sure it was her, and i didn't say anything. i'm very private on here so i wouldn't want to open that door.

Nope! I wouldn't approach the person unless I "knew" them on here well.

As matter of fact, I just saw SmileyD with her daughter leaving BRU a week or two ago... her little one is SO CUTE!!!
