I thought NY had high gas prices
i was in florida for a week. the gas was $3.45 or more. my dad said when they moved to florida in 2001, gas was $1.17
|

Yes, it's ridiculous now! NJ always seems to have the lowest prices, too bad I don't live close to there.

here in charlotte, where things are supposed to be cheaper, gas is between 3.29 - 3.35 a gallon

I'm just glad I don't do a lot of diving. my commute is only 8 miles each way. DH drives 80 miles round trip M-F and he needs premium gas

I paid $3.19 last week for 89 octane at the Exxon on W.T. Harris and Mt Holly-Huntersville. I don't think the trek to get there was worth the 10 cent per gallon savings but at least I was able to use my speedpass and not pay cash.

I live in NJ, and honestly, these days it's not that much less expensive. I just paid $3.79 for regular last week. Central and South Jersey are a little less though.

I think some parts of So Cal are the most  .... I went there years ago and they were paying about 50 cents more in san diego than we were at the time.... I don't even want to know how bad it is for them now

really- on RT 17 North yesterday I paid $3.35 for Premium and that was the average price I saw from the bridge all the way to the NY state line
and that is the most I have paid there in a while- I was paying $2.65 for premium 6 months ago

My uncle is visiting from CA and he told us last night, he pays $3.71 and thats the cheapest.
When we drove back from FL the gas lines at all the NJ rest stops were LONG...We saw $3.05

how far are your from paramus? I always get the best deals on Rt 4 and Rt 17

I'm not that close to Paramus. But I'm fairly certain the high gas price has to do with the area I live in too.
sounds that way- that price is higher then NY- and we have higher gas taxes here
I wonder if that is legal!
