I threw my back out - again
I am in so much pain!
This is like the 4th time this has happened since July - I've been to the chiropractor and obviously it isn't working...
Is there some kind of doctor I could see? If so, what type??

I'm sorry you are in pain. You should make an appointment with an orthopedic that specializes in back problems. When you call to make an appointment, let them know it's your back - if they can't help you, they will refer you to an orthopedic that can. Another benefit is, the orthopedic can order and MRI and prescribe pain killers and muscle relaxers.

I had terrible back pain for years and year -- Finally I got an MRI after years of suffering. Turns out a piece of my disc had broken off and was lodged in my spinal cord.
If this is a recurring issue, insist that your Dr. prescribe an MRI. I have to say, I had surgery 2 years ago and after I recovered, my quality of life improved by one million times. No one should have to suffer. I hope you do not have the same problem, but you need to find out what is going on in there.
You can see a neurologist, or a neurosurgeon. But I would get an MRI first of all and see what shows up.

Eeek!! I threw mine out on Christmas Day and it was awful!!!!!! (It was a Christmas miracle that my mother had left over darvocet on hand!)
