I threw the diaper wipes
Sometimes I shock DH. DD was cranky all day today and wouldn't eat well or nap. I finally put her to bed and was washing bottles when I heard her screaming on the monitor in the living room with DH. DH awoke from his nap and called into me "she's crying." I replied "she's your daughter too." I knew he hadn't left the couch so on my way through the dining room to her bedroom I picked up the 8 pack box of wipes to take with me to her room. Seeing DH still on the couch made me furious and I threw the box on the floor hard. I got her and brought her right to dear ol' daddy and walked away. He was shocked by my behavior and so was I. Anyone else change into a different person after having children? I think DH is wondering who I am.

Re: I threw the diaper wipes
This sounds very much like me lately.. I can sooooo relate to your frustration. I dont know who I am lately either (in fact DH just called me into the bedroom because DS had woken up crying, and wanted ME to 'deal with him' .. even though I have been dealing with him since 6am this morning and haven't taken a break yet, and DH walked in at 7pm and has been relaxing all night )

Re: I threw the diaper wipes
I have done this on more then one occasion. My husband is normally very good but, there are times when he feels likes it's MY job & I just snap.

Re: I threw the diaper wipes
I would have done the same...
Yes we do become someone else when we have a baby. We become "MOTHERS"... That right there gives us the right to throw things at our husbands.

Re: I threw the diaper wipes
yep! I yelled at him the other night because I swear he sleeps through her waking at night. HE says he wakes up, but just lays there until I calm her down.
I got so mad that he left his shoes laying around and I tripped over them twice, I was ready to throw them at him.

Oh my God Felicia that kills me! The best is when he says he needs a nap. Tell me you don't want to throw something at him right then and there?
DH is generally good, he does go out and buy whatever I need for the baby but there is not much he can do cuz he is a teacher and does have school work to do when he comes home but sometimes it's like errrrrrrrr! I understand he's busy but it's like he comes home and he'll hold him for 10 minutes and then is like "take him, I have so much work to do on the computer" oh if he only knew.
