I want to move - vent xpost from Home
I hate Riverhead.
1st - hooker stabbed to death less than a mile from my home
2nd - level 3 sex offender less than a mile from my home
3rd - DH's van broken into in the back of our home
4th - read in the paper that there were like 6 kids in the schools caught w weapons
5th - they found a body of a man (saw on News12) less than 2 miles from my home. Cause of death unknown.
I HATE RIVERHEAD!!!! I WANT TO MOVE!!!

Sorry to hear about all the bad stuff! Riverhead has been so scary to me since I was a senior in HS *in 96 when Curtisha Morning was murdered
Didn't you say a while back that you might be moving to the North Shore?

I am sorry Karen.
I grew up in Hampton Bays and I really think Riverhead has come a long way since I was a teenager.
I actually think it is getting better.

Yes, Mattituck. Back to where i came from. Growing up I always swore I would never live in Riverhead. We just have to find something that isn't an arm and a leg with enough bedrooms and space for 5 and 2 dogs - lol

Main Street in Riverhead is definitely getting better and especially with all the new plans to rebuild Main Street.

I have really good friends who live in Riverhead, right off of Main Street on Jerome St. Really nice street, all new houses.
I am sorry, I know you are frustrated.
