I was presented with an amazing opportunity! - I'M GOING TO EL PASO!!!!
I'm sooo excited, I'm ready to burst! Our company is opening a super site down in Texas. They are looking for Ambassadors from each region to go down and do a month long project (training new associates, etc.). They would hook you up with a SWEET apartment, car, expense account, you name it. The downside would be (of course) that I would have to leave Amber up here or leave her at my sister's and then see her on the weekends (she lives in TX - about an hour by plane away). Or I could have STBX fly down and stay a week or so so I could see the baby. But it would be a change of scenery, give me some time to myself, some sort of empowerment and excellent job exposure. I soo want to take this opportunity. What would you do??
The promotion I posted about a few weeks back (that I was looking forward to) is probably gone. Someone more qualified applied even though I'll get the token "interview" tomorrow.
I JUST GOT THE NEWS!!! I'M HEADED TO EL PASO IN JULY!!! I'M SOO EXCITED I COULD JUST DIE!!! IT'S BEEN AN AWESOME DAY!!

Wow, thats really exciting! Why not go for it! If you have someone you love to look after Amber and you can see her on the weekends...a month is a great period of time!

Tough decision.... While it will be a great opportunity for you, how will it affect Amber to be so far from her father? I know you are going through a divorce, but how will custody work? Just something else to think about.
If those are not issues, I say go for it!

I spoke to Bob and he's okay with anything I decide. He also thinks it's a great opportunity and knows I'll be kicking myself if I don't check it out.
I was thinking of leaving Amber with sister for two weeks and flying to Dallas to be with her on the weekends. Then he could fly down to El Paso (maybe hang for a few days since things are pretty amicable; hang by the pool and such) and then take her back with him. The other great thing I found out about this offer is that my company will pay for flights to/from home on the weekends But the flights are pretty long and I would have barely any time home It would be easier for me if she was down here already, since the flights from El Paso to Dallas are like 45 minutes.
