I went to re-vote the school budget today...
And these women were YELLING at eachother! One lady was yelling to vote NO...the other one was saying to vote YES.
Telling the people that were walking how they SHOULD vote.
I couldn't belive it!!!
Just wanted to share!

My neighbor has a VOTE YES sign...it was taken a couple of times.....and NO was written over yest. I couldnt believe it!

People used to get like that at my HS back in the day. The old people would stand outside and try to get peole to vote no.
This was when we had no budget....it would make me so mad.

I grew up in Patchogue-Medford. My parents still live there. From what I heard from my parents and old neighbors, people are upset b/c they built this huge new high school and a lot of $$$ was misspent and now people have to pay for it.

My brother lives in this district. They just had a baby on 6/4. If they stay in Patchogue/Med I hope they do their research and vote.
Sorry went off topic a bit. I cannot believe people. Aren't votes supposed to be ummmm confidential? How can you tell someone how to vote.

The school budget. I'm so happy it passed this time around! Until you have kids in school, you don't realize how bad being on an austerity budget is. The kids really miss out on a lot of stuff.
