I went to see a medium yesterday! (ttc related)

And the second thing that he told me (and that he dwelled on for a while) was that someone VERY close to me was ttc or would be ttc ASAP. He kept saying "I want to say it's you, but you JUST got married didn't you? I'm sure you're not trying yet" and "your grandparents keep giving me TWO sets of flowers which for me symbolize both marriage & babies/pregnancy, but you're not pg...and you didn't get married TWICE!" He was stumped & getting frustrated so after repeating himself 5 or 6 times over the course of 10 minutes, I finally told him that yes, we are ttc & that I did get pg 5 months after the wedding, but that I lost the baby. He was like "AH! That would explain it!!" and looked so relieved that he wasn't going nuts...for some reason they weren't telling him about the m/c though...

So later on he tells me "I see 2 children for you, not twins (I'm a twin & my MIL was a twin), probably both boys. You'll have your first one soon" and he kept saying a "late Scorpio baby" meaning that I'll either conceive or give birth during Oct/Nov. He then went on to say that he strongly feels that it will be a Scorpio conception & that I'll be pg by my 1 year anniv (which is EARLY Nov) so that I should get ready.

How cool is that?! Now I do believe in this stuff (he's legit & told me lots of other stuff that he couldn't have known), but I also know that we make our own destinies & nothing is set in stone...I went for fun just to see what he'd say, so I'm not getting my hopes up all like "OMG it's going to happen this or next cycle!!" just so that I can be extra disappointed when it doesn't happen, but still - wouldn't it be really cool if he's right & it comes true?!?

ETA: Oh - I forgot to mention: once I clarified that I had the m/c he *reflected* on that for a bit and then said:

"I'm being told that you are fine...physically. There's nothing wrong with 'all this' (he gestured to his abdomen area) and you won't be suffering another loss. That was it. Everything is working well and even though it may take (or has taken) a few months to conceive your children, you won't have any real issues or problems with conceiving or have any more misses."

Again, this was all for fun, but I'll be honest - that gave me some real peace of mind & made me feel better. Even though an m/c is always a possibility & I'm going to be nervous as all heck if & when I get pg again, I'm going to focus on that statement A LOT to try & ease my nerves!!

On the same topic, my younger sister went to a medium a few weeks ago and she told mt sis that I would have twins. This is the second psychic to say this!!!! I'm nervous! lol

Wow - twins! That's cool I actually was kind of hoping that I'd have twins - we were a handful for my mom, but I think it's neat having a twin

Just curious who you went to and (if you don't mind) how much you paid? Was it a one on one session?

Sure! I don't mind sharing

I saw Glenn Dove in Bellmore. He charges $170 for about 40 minutes one-on-one (he won't allow you to bring anyone in with you)...if you bring a cassette tape, he'll record the session for you.

It's a lot of $$ I know, but he's a reputable medium & he's really good. I hadn't seen a psychic or medium in 5+ years, so I saved up some cash & went to see him because I had heard from a few people that he's really accurate. I'm glad that I did because I was happy with my reading.

My all time FAVORITE reading ever, though, was with a psychic medium named Jim Fargiano 5 years ago (I think he's out in Quogue). If he's still doing readings, I'd recommend him as well. He STUNNED me with the things that he told me and I pulled out my notes from that reading last night & WOW - he was dead-on on almost everything...
