I will be bringing my new pup home next week!
What can I do to make my home safe for a puppy?
Any suggestions on bringing home a new dog would be greatly appreciated!!! My husband and I both grew up with dogs but this is our first together!
We are so excited!

I would say, to make sure the area he/she will be staying in is clear of anything he/she can choke on. Also, clear of anything you don't want chewed up.

Make sure the pup cannot get to any wires or anything else that can be dangerous if chewed.
My list for a new pup is as follows:
Crate Bed towel ticking clock (to soothe the first few weeks) raised metal food & water bowls puppy food puppy vitamins puppy treats Puppy Kong puppy blanket Harness ID tags w/ contact info puppy wash/shampoo Non-retractable lead toothbrush Pee Pads brush (slicker brush, depending on the breed of dog)
I know I am forgetting something......
