I wish I could stay home!!!!
I think there should be a LAW that allowed working women to stay home at least on their last 2 weeks before EDD.
I have 4 weeks to go... I am dragging myself to go to work.
I want to be in the shade in my backyard in a lounge chair..... just resting!!!!!!
OK.. hopeless wishes vent over!!!

I saved my sick days and some vacation days for when i just didnt want to come in.
SHould have used one today....

ITA, I think it's horrible that disability or maternity leave for everyone doesn't start a few weeks before the EDD. What a world we live in.

Girls dont feel bad. I am 14 weeks and I drag myself to work every day. I dont sleep well at night but could sleep all day long if I had the opportunity.
Plus the holiday weekend makes it even harder.

Maternity laws suck in the US. They dont give a crap about us Pregnant women. And neither do our jobs care at all about us either.

I sat on the couch and cried when I got home last night. I have no idea how I will be able to do this commute to NYC all summer.
When people ask me when I'm due and I say the end of August I want to cry.
I will probably ask my Dr. for a note to get me out for the last two weeks, I have plenty of sick and vacation days.
Come the beginning of August I'll try every trick and old wives tale to try to bring on labor, the sooner in August she comes the happier I will be.
