I witnessed a car accident on my way to work
In Huntington on NY Ave and Creek Rd. The bus made a right on red so the old lady in the car in back of the bus thought the light was green. She went through a red light and got plowed by a Tahoe. Everyone was ok just very shaken up. The old lady was hit so hard her wig flew off and when I was talking to her trying to see if she was ok she picked it up and put it on but there was glass all over it. She kept insisting she had the green light. Two other witnesses and myself knew she didn't.
I felt so bad because I asked her if she wanted me to call anyone and she said she was a widow that she has nobody 
We stayed to make police reports.
I hope she's ok... 
ETA: It wasn't a school bus. It was a public transportation bus

Poor lady!
It hate seeing car accidents, I live on a main road and there is at least one a week in front of my house and then they shut down the street and I can't get out of my driveway. I call 911 all the time, I think they know me by now.

I am so glad that everyone was OK.
That happened to me, I just wasn't paying attention. Thank goodness I didn't get hit.
That poor woman, I feel bad for her

poor lady. I'm glad you stayed with her, I am sure she was comforted by that.
I hate being behind buses and large trucks because you can't see the lights and I know exactly what she went trough thinking the light was green.

That was awfully nice of you. I think any decent person would & should do the same too.
As a side note, maybe it's just that I've been paying more attention lately, but I've noticed more and more cars going through red lights...are you in that much of a rush? Are you gonna get to work a whole minute sooner? Is your job so great that you just can't wait to get there? People need to think about what can happen in the fraction of a second. In the city it's especially dangerous because there are more cars and pedestrians all within a smaller area.

That stinks..was it is a school bus? I think it's illegal for school busses to turn on red..not sure about that though.

Oh no, thank God everyone was ok!! It was so nice of you to stop and talk to her.
This is why whenever I'm behind a bus or truck I wait until I can actually see that the light is green before I take my foot off the brake.

sorry for her, but these are the reason they need to retest people after a certain amount of time. I see soo many patients come into my job and cannt walk without holding the wall, cant see or hear, and there the ones behind the wheel driving.
