i would love to do a class with DS at the library...
but the only one available for his age group is on friday mornings during the spring. 
way to make me feel more guilty

You could check a neighboring library. Some let out of district patrons register if the class isn't full. IME they all fill up quickly and have a waiting list though. Worth a shot!

nope.... I just called looking for myself too. It's on Tuesdays and they are full. They have 1 person on the waiting list. I didn't add myself cause I work on Tuesdays.

I'm Levittown library too and the one class I could do when I am off for work for Memorial day I have a dr. appt during. I asked the librarian why they don't do Sat. and they said they did and it wasn't big. I wish they could do it again!
ETA: I felt guilty when I saw it too!

I have this same complaint. Why is it that no place has classes after 3. I work in a school so I could do a class around 3 but everything is in the morning or the weekend. Even if we did it on the weekend I would prefer 3ish b/c she usually naps from around 12 to 2 ish.
They make working Mom's feel so guilty

I actually got upset one day when our library calendar arrived and I could not make any of the classes. I wish they had more working mother friendly schedules.

ITA with this. It's like it's an assumption that all moms are staying home with their kids. Very annoying.
