I would love to officially re-join the Pregnancy Board...
Hello ladies!!
I am pregnant with DC#2! I look forward to chatting with all of you! Happy and healthy 9 months to all!!
Here is my story from Parenting...
I am PREGNANT!!! 9 weeks on Friday!! I’m due August 12, 2011! Thomas will be a big brother!!! I am so happy. For those of you who know my story, I always, always, always wanted two children. I married a guy who already had two children. LOL We agreed (me reluctantly) to have one child together. DH was concerned with financial strain, being spread too thin, being able to provide each child with enough time and attention, etc. I was concerned with these things too, and I was mostly happy with my one healthy, happy, love of my life child, but as time went by, as much as I tried to convince myself that I was complete, I was not. DH saw this in me, that I was not totally happy and knew that I REALLY wanted another child. After 3 ½ years, he came around!!! I really thought that he would never want to go for our second and his fourth (his older boys are almost 14 and 11). I was trying my hardest to come to terms with it. Then he surprised me!! I am so excited and happy, but so nervous and worried at the same time. Of course, the financial, time and other concerns are still there… I am worried that I “pushed my luck” and should have been happy with my one healthy and happy child, what if I am not lucky enough to be blessed with another healthy, happy child?? I will look to you ladies for support through this pregnancy and parenting journey! Thank you for reading!!
Oh, and DH really wants a girl!! LOL After his three boys, DH wants a Daddy’s girl! Oh, the pressure!!! All I want is a HEALTHY baby!! And I’m SURE it will be a boy!! LOL

Congrats and welcome!
Children are always a wonderful blessing. My parents had me and my brother 12 and a half months apart during the most difficult time in their lives financially and we had a great childhood. They even went on to have another one 6 years later. I was worried when I first got pregnant too!

Congrats...what a great story! and just remember there is no pressure on u as ur dh is the one responsible for the sex of the baby

I know financially you are worried, but I can tell you, somehow you will make it work, it always does. I wish you a very happy & healthy pregnancy and I am happy that your DH is so excited
