I'd like to host a "party", but what kind?

Now that we are fairly settled in our new house, I would love to host a "party" for me and my friends. AKA...tupperware, candles, etc. What are some of the best "parties" you've been too? I don't want to do pampered chef, because I feel that they are too expensive and I know when I go to those parties I feel obligated to buy something and end up spending too much money. I want to do something fun and get free stuff as a host!!! Suggestions pleaseChat Icon

How about a spa party...I don't know too much about them, but I think I remember that someone on here does them...I don't remember who though.

I've been to sex parties, candle parties, Pampered Chef parties, purse parties, jewelry parties, and so on. The most fun BY FAR are the sex toy parties.

You can have a wine party! My cousin is looking into having one; we may have one...we're looking into it. In which case, I would certainly invite some LIF peeps!

The "adult" parties are a hoot, but if you are looking more toward house stuff, I love partylight.

Have fun!

Re: I'd like to host a "party", but what kind?

I found that the part light was a bit expensive too and just bought something to be polite. I really like Pampered Chef and most of the people I know like cooking too so they really liked the party that I had. I did have people come that didn't purchase anything.

Re: I'd like to host a "party", but what kind?

I used to sell Tupperware and as a result of that, I ended up as the guest at many home parties - Mary Kay, Party Lite, Stampin Up, Home Interiors and some sex toy party who's name I cannot remember. Out of all of them the one that gave me the most in return for hosting was by far Tupperware. I had many people at all of the parties and as much fun as it can be to pass around sex toys and make fun of ourselves, people got very self conscious and did not want to order things. My guest at my own Tupperware party, bought so much that I was able to get a couple of hundred dollars worth of free stuff. Stampin Up is good too if you are into scrapbooking.

Re: I'd like to host a "party", but what kind?

I just went to a Home Interiors party last friday and they had some nice stuff. I got a beautiful set of mirrors for our bedroom.

I also want to have a PartyLite party soon....

And I know of a girl who does Body Shop parties and I thought that was really cool.

Re: I'd like to host a "party", but what kind?

im actually kinda bored with the candle parties. Everyone seems to have them now. The sex parties are so much fun and you know you are gonna leave with a good laugh. Pampered chef is good also to get stuff for the house.
