Ideas/Suggestions for Movie Theater BDay Party

For DS' 10th bday he has decided he wants to have a party at the movies to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

I've reserved the date/time, but now need some ideas

Invitations:
-Movie starts at 1pm, we all need to arrive by 12:15 to get popcorn, drinks,snack & get in seats. How do I word that on invite?

-Parent's can stay or go - if they stay, I need a head count to reserve seats How do I word that on invite?

Favors:
Suggestions??

Cake:
There isn't a party room, so kids will have popcorn, drink & candy with movie & that is all. Is that taboo??

I am not sure about the parent part. I would think a/or parent(s) would stay with their child. but I could be wrong. I don't have kids It is not like the 70s when I grew up and parents dropped their kids off for a few hours with one parent.
