If I can't stand waiting for a phone call for IVF approval...how am I GOING TO BE with the whole process??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I am angry. I am upset. I am trying to get through this. I am. I just cannot see why people can't call me back and say...."we are still waiting/ your husband needs another SA/your case has gone to peer review." I have gotten nothing...its been 1 week. I know. I know. I week is nothing. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT I WANT A BABY! If you can't handle returning a phone call, I will see another RE who the wonderful LIF girls tell me is able to return calls because I CANNOT TAKE THIS!!!!!!!


Ok, back to smiling and thinking everything will work out. When, I know you can relate, I am deep deep deep down inside SAD as a sick puppy.

Waiting to get told we were approved felt like it was taking forever... although I did know in a week.. but the wait is so stressful! That's basically what all of this is though. Lots of waiting and the unknown





I would definitely call your doctor and speak to them about what your status is right now, etc. At this point since you are getting so stressed, don't wait for them to call you!

Would you suggest calling the doctor? I was told 7 days I would know something. Monday was 7 days. I left a message Thursday and then again today. When I called I said is soandso in and they said yes, so I was transfered but left a message SO I know she got my message from Thursday. BTW soandso is the IVF coordinator. Ironically, the coordinator from their Mineola location still has not called me. My mom is friends with my REs mil, so I would feel bad tattling or calling him. How long do you suggest I wait???

the whole thing about if that i hate is always the waiting game. you first wait for insurance to be approved, then you wait for af to show up to start test, then wait for results, wait for af again to start shooting up meds. then wait the 2ww. lool always waiitng we are very patient ladies coz the wait never stops. just be patient and what i have decided to blow up the phones on the other side for answers.

i def wouldve called by now several times.. prob several times a day

however yes - a lot of IVF involves waiting. you suppress and you wait to be suppressed enough. you stim and you wait for the eggs to be mature and ready and plentiful. then you have the ER and you wait for the fert report. then the ET and the wait for the beta. oh yeah and then the beta and hopefully the wait for the second beta. and then the wait for the first sono. and then 8 months of waiting for to cook.

its a big lesson in patience. im just assuming that after is here there is no more waiting like that for a long time. and perhaps at that point ill miss the days that there was only waiting, and not so much actual doing!!

Unfortunately, a lot of dealing with IF and treatments is waiting. I think it's one of the most difficult parts about it. You will begin to live your life in increments, just waiting for something - whether its getting AF to start a cycle, finishing up a certain medication, waiting for follicles to grow, waiting to trigger, counting the days until your beta - it's a huge waiting game.

Thank you ladies! She did in fact return my phone call today...ON MY HOME LINE,... when I def. said call my cell but.. it was a call back. She is waiting for the SA results from the office in Mineola...I switched office...and then said we should know by Tuesday. However, I am definately calling her Monday!

I am in my mid 20s and a Fragile X Carrier, above the safe/almost safe zone but not in the high zone, my DH's SA is a motility of 4. I will pay for PGD out of my pocket... but was hoping they would pick up IVF Tab....or the 75% I am entitiled to! I appreciate all of your kind words. I will continue to wait until Monday and then BLOW UP her phone.

Did you ladies call everyday when waiting on someone/thing or did you let a day pass in between?
