If I ever needed the prayers-UPDATE!!! another update
I just had a conversation with one of the facilities for Fred. They rejected him at first because they had no beds..ok, we'll wait. But they have to make a team decision about bringing him over. So I had a convo with one of the admissions directors yesterday and one today. I told her the whole story from beginning to end and how we have been fighting for him since. She was amazed. She has to bring it up to the team there to get the approval. I asked her what his chances are and she said she is pulling for him but it's not her final decision. Also, the facility is not in his network but he does have a PPO so he can go out of network.
Please send the good vibes. This is crucial for him and us.

they called back to ask some questions about his meds. I answered and she also said that the physical therapists will have no issue with retraing him with his memory deficits. That's good news..waiting to hear..then the insurance company.
Update!! Fred has been accepted!!! Now we have to wait for the insurance auth...
I'm going to check it out tomorrow. I hope it's not a sh!thole.
