If one of your parents were getting remarried and having a wedding~

What would you give as a wedding gift?Given you are going and all is well!

Are they taking a honeymoon? If so, maybe an excursion or something special for their honeymoon. If they're not taking a honeymoon, maybe a gift certificate for a weekend getaway to a nearby B&B or something like that.

My other thought was to get something sentimental... but I can't think of anything specific!

Maybe a silver platter or picture frame or something that you can have engraved? Especially if you can get a professional pic of your parent and the new spouse with their children?

I didn't give my dad anything

It was a small ceremony and a dinner- only about 15 people

I didn't give my dad anything. He told me not to bother... Both of them were already established and DH (FH at the time) were planning out wedding.

When my mother remarried, I didn't give them anything. I has less then 24 hours notice and wasn't even there.

When my Dad remarried, they had a big thing, church and reception. We all (me, my sister, all his siblings) all pitched in $200 each and I booked a weekend in NYC for them, including limo, play tix, hotel and 1 dinner.
