if the sonographer guessed the gender at your ultrascreen...

was he/she right when you had your anatomy scan? at my ultrascreen the sonographer guessed girl, which is what I've been feeling and EVERY gender chart says too. i know not to put too much stock into the guess but i'm wondering how it went for others!

she guessed at 13 weeks and said she was 85% right.. well she was 100% right i found out at 18 weeks and again at 21 weeks ~!

Yes, however, she did not tell me at my ultrascreen. When we went for our level II, I said, "Are you sure it's a girl?" and she said that she had known from the time we had our ultra screen because she saw her ovaries.

I had a sono right before my ultrascreen and that tech also said she was sure it was a boy.

at NT, another sono tech also said she was sure it was a boy.

when I told my OB, she said, its really too early to tell accurately, even if you put a camera inside the womb, they are taking guesses based on other cues

Yup, we were told at 12 weeks the sonographer was 75% sure it was a girl and she was never wrong. It was confirmed via an Amnio at 18 weeks that we were having a girl.

11 wks 4 days sono tech said boy and she was 99% sure. I HOPE they can tell me again this time!!!

at 16 weeks the tech said "so do we know what youre having" to which I replied "boy" to which she replied "ummm no, GIRL!"

We were told boy at the 12 week and it's been confirmed every sono since and intelligender and almost every Chinese gender calendar. If this is a girl I will be floored (I am being induced in two weeks).

At 12 wks I was told boy by a dr.(the sono tech did not even discuss sex at all) and at 19 wks and every sono after I was told girl...biggest shock of my life.

She took an "educated guess" at 12 weeks, knowing that it was way too early to know for sure, and she was right - . We didn't confirm at 20 week, we were team .

My techs/doctors would not guess at the ultrascreen. For DD1, they guessed at 14 weeks that she was a girl and they confirmed at 16 weeks. We found out at 16 weeks for DD2 as well. I know a few people who have had guesses at 12 weeks or shortly after, and they were wrong. Most of those times I hear guesses about a boy, and it turns out to be a girl. For a girl, once you see the 3 lines, it is a pretty safe guess. If they guess girl because they dont see anything, that's not really a safe bet.
