I have drug coverage and get everything through CVS Caremark specialty pharmacy -- never used either Freedom or Kraupners, but CVS has been great with delivery and customer service. If this is a possibility for you, I would at least price them out. I have Empire NYSHIP.

I think my copay was the same regardless. When I had to start paying OOP then kraupners was cheaper

Kraupners by a little. I had to do freedom once because they had a med in stock- a little higher but not much difference.

For me freedom was cheaper.
Walgreens filled heparin for me today, but refused to give me syringes. It took two hours of fighting. So if you go that route, make sure you get everything you need in advance. They were pure idiots today.
