Question about stimming. . .
Hi- Ok so I began injections on Sat. night. But let me give a little bit of a back story. . . I started with BCP and then on the 10th I began estrace for 4 days. On Sat. morning i went for my bloodwork and sono and there was a 28mm cyst on my left ovary and my right ovary was behind my uterus. The doctor wasn't too concerned about the right ovary but was concerned about the cyst. She said if it is giving off too much estrogen then I have to wait until next cycle. I cried my eyes out b/c I feel like everytime I get close something gets in the way. It was rough waiting to hear if I was going to begin injections. I got the call Sat. that I was able to begin the injections but, they changed my protocal. Originally, I was beginning with Gonal F and Luveris. When they called on Sat. they said the doctor only wants me to start with Gonal F. I went for a Sono and bloodwork this morning and my right ovary decided to come back around and the cyst on the left went down to 25mm. I have 6 follicles in my Left ovary and 11 in my right. Is that good or is it too many for only 3 days? The nurse said wow that's a lot for only 3 days. The way she said it made me a little nervous. When I questioned her she said oh you're just having a really good cycle. When they called me to let me know what doses of med. I should take, they said the doctor wants me to remain on the same dose for the next 2 days that I have been on.
Does this sound right? I am just really nervous and wondering if anybody else ever remained on the same dose of meds for 5 days. Sorry this is so long, I am still completely overwhelmed and excited. TIA- Donna

Re: Question about stimming. . .
I was always on the same dose throughout my cycles. Sounds like you are going to do very well on this cycle with #follies already. I would assume they are small. You number isn't crazy, though you will get more as you stim. I would assume that they changed your meds (in the beginning) because you are already doing so well (cd3 b/w). Glad your rt ovary went back in place and that your cyst went down. Sounds like everything is going great. Wish you lots of luck and success this cycle

Re: Question about stimming. . .
You have a good number for early in the cycle. If you have PCOS, you may be at a risk for OHSS - but it seems like they are monitoring you closely so I wouldn't worry yet. Good luck!

Don't get too nervous. As long as they are monitoring you closely and adjusting your meds, you will be fine.
