If you are friends with your boss on Facebook...
...it might be a good idea to block them from seeing your pictures and updates if you call in sick and then use the day to go to the beach and post pictures of it.
....Just sayin'!

And also if you're friends with your boss's wife (or husband) on FB (although why would you be??), don't ***** and complain about your boss b/c she'll go straight to him and tell him everything you said.

I unfriended my GM after some incorrect assumptions were made about my husband. I really dont want my bosses seeing my personal stuff anyway. I dont want to see thiers either to be honest lol.

This girl was a moron. Who friends their boss's wife?? She complained that we had work on a holiday and literally 5 mins later, the boss knew what she said.

One of my employees just did this. (Not the beach, called out literally a half hour before her shift and was actually at a sorority event) I am confronting her about it next time she is in...

Ha, seems so important at the time. I haven't been involved with anyone from mine in years beyond FB.

Haha! That's how one of my old coworkers got fired. She didn't have any time off and said her grandmother died and she needed bereavement time. Then posted pictures on FB of her partying in the Dominican Republic.
She also used her work phone to call the US while there so when she tried saying the pictures were taken long ago we knew she was lying.
Silly people!!!!

I know someone who had the time, but just decided to fly to a different US city. They stayed in touch with their clients and were on top of their work, but the agency was pissed they just didn't ask for a few days off when they saw the cell phone bill.
