If you are going out on NYE, are you wearing peep toes?
I have a great pair, but is it too cold? I was planning on wearing dark skinny jeans and a cute top (which I hope to buy today).

I'm not, but that's just because I bought new lace up booties!  Plus, I'm wearing a dress with patterned tights and peep toes would look dumb.
But I say go for it! It's warm enough and if you're drinking, you won't even notice it.  At least, I never do.

Totally go for it!! I love them and your little toe won't even feel the cold.
The alcohol will warm you up too! 
By the end of the night you won't even know what's on your feet!
Not like they're sandals. I agree with PP. THey're all year round
