These come in black and look totally different in black
They're Anne Klein.. on sale for $42 at Macy's also..
They're 3 3/4 but the front is 1/2 inch platform.. so that's more like 3 1/4

I'm on the fence with them. I don't want to buy shoes that others perceive as old lady shoes. I understand what you mean about me liking them, but I don't always trust my own shoe instincts.
