If you are in your 23rd week or more movement question.
hi,
I am 23 weeks since last thursday. Thursday and Friday I could feel a lot of movement and then this weekend nothing until last night when there was a little. Should I be worried?
I was out all weekend and really didnt get much rest so think that might be why - I wasnt sitting long enough to notice any movement.
TIA

I always get kicked when I am sitting or relaxong. If I am walking around or tired I never get kicked.

Re: If you are in your 23rd week or more movement question.
I'm 23 weeks today and felt my first movement (*I THINK*) Saturday morning in bed.
Nothing really the rest of the day ... then the same Sunday morning and a little something Sunday afternoon on the couch while I was watching NCAA.
This morning I felt some on the train ride in. Baby may like PBJ because I've been feeling movement all morning at my desk since eating breakfast (and having a cup of regular tea!).

I am 23 weeks with my second
There are many moments where the movement is out of control..I'm already getting big kicks, thumps etc..
but there will be days when its rather minimal and I hardly feel him. I remember with my first son this happened so I don't worry at all. They supposedly spend 90% of their time sleeping and only 10% active! Although on the days when activity level is high, it feels like all day movement!

Re: If you are in your 23rd week or more movement question.
I'm 24 weeks. I have been feeling movement for a long time (since about 17.5 weeks) but it has been and still is very inconsistent. I rarely ever feel it when I'm up and moving around. I feel it alot more when I am sitting around relaxing. That being said there will be days still where I feel very little movement. I find that after a few days of crazy activity I tend to have a few quiet days... This past weekend Fri and Sat. were really quiet days, I really had to concentrate to feel anything but then Sun and this morning there has been crazy movement (I woke up this morning swearing that my had to have 8 arms and legs in there for how much movement I was feeling)

Thanks girls. This is my second but I cannot really remember if my DD acted like this. I am just going to ride it out now and see if I get any movement today. Maybe now that I am 'relaxing" at work -( who would have thought working was more relaxing that a weekend out and about with a 3 year old!!) baby might start to move around more.

Re: If you are in your 23rd week or more movement question.
I'm 23 weeks now and I've been feeling the baby for a few weeks now - but it's not every day. Especially on the weekends, most of the day can go by without me feeling him. I think it's just because I'm so busy I'm not really thinking about it - when I'm sitting at my desk during the week (okay, okya, doing nothing! ) I feel it more often.
