If you are not Christian or Jewish are you offended by decorations that are out this time of year?

That's just silly - christmas music doesn't bother me at all.
ETA - though, just ONCE I'd love to be strolling down the aisles of the supermarket and hear "oh dreidal dreidal dreidal, I made it out of clay"
Ok, maybe not in the supermarket, but the Hallmark store near my job plays a CD of Hannukah music. The kids' voices are actually a little grating, & they only have the the 1 CD , so it gets repetitive, but the idea is nice!

Not at all. I actually have a "holiday mix" playlist on my Ipod, which is all Christmas songs, some winter songs and Adam Sandler's Hanukah Song- all three versions

Honestly, I feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of cry babies..........Jeez it's just music....people who complain about things like that annoy me.....
ITA!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love it!! ITA!!! Everyone can find something to be offended about, its ridiculous!!!
Reminds me of a south park episode where the whoe town goes crazy over things they find offensive, including mistletoe and lights, lol!! People need to RELAX!!
is that the one where all the kids dressed in black and moved around the stage to that trans-type music?
ITA! people need to get over themselves and realize that no one really cares whether or not they're offended (well, speaking for myself, anyway)

I used to work with someone who said that she was offended by Christmas music being played in Target because they assumed that everyone celebrated Christmas. She was Muslim. She wasn't nasty about it but I would have never thought that was offensive.
You can't say Merry Christmas anymore it's Happy Holidays, Santa can't say Ho Ho Ho because it's offensive to women, and so on........Give me a freaking break! The holidays have been like this for YEARS, and now people want it to change! Whatever

Re: If you are not Christian or Jewish are you offended by decorations that are out this time of year?
It's called Freedom of Religion and it's what this country was founded on. Catholicism happens to be a highly practiced religion in the US (Christianity, to be broader). Hence, Christmas is widely celebrated. If someone doesn't like that we honor this choice, that we honor and celebrate holidays, then leave. Sorry, that sounds so harsh, but seriously, it comes with the territory. People came here to celebrate the choice. Granted, it gets a little overboard this time of year and I'd love to see more Hanukah stuff around, but honestly, it's a month. It's one month where people give and care a little bit more and if it's friggin music that brings that out, then so be it! Aside from that, I'd like to think that we have bigger issues to worry about (oh, I don't know, AIDS, cancer, homelessness, terrorism, poverty, global warming...seriously, Christmas music? That's the biggest thorn in your side? We all should be so blessed!
Edited to clarify.
