If you are taking DC out in the COLD this morning
What are you putting on them to wear? It is 14 degrees out and I want to make sure she is bundled up enough!

Re: If you are taking DC out in the COLD this morning
Unfortunately, yes, I have to go to work so she's going to MIL's. I'm lucky, she still is in the infant carrier with the Bundle Me-- love that thing. So she'll be in think overalls, a onesie, socks and the Bundle Me with a hat and a blanket over the whole carrier to/from the car.
Definitely do layers, since I'm sure wherever you're going with DC it will be toasty and warm inside!

Re: If you are taking DC out in the COLD this morning
Think its overkill if I use snowpants over the clothes with a sweater, turtleneck, jeans and a coat?
ETA, too bad, DD is out of the infant carrier, so no bundle me for her

How far away is your car from your home? I think it might be overkill , but it depends on how much you actually have to be outside!

Not far at all, but it will take a while for it to warm up in this weather.
Stay warm everyone!!!!!

Ds is going to my moms today so he will be in his bundle me (which is the best that thing keeps him so warm he sweats) a thick hat with ear flaaps, a onesie with undershirt and khakis plus socks. He is just going from the car to the house.

Re: If you are taking DC out in the COLD this morning
I had no choice but to take DD out in this cold. So, she has a one piece jumper on, with a onesie underneath, thick socks, a one piece snow suit on with a hood, and a hat on. I also put a thick blanket on her, and covered her hands because she freaked out when I put mittens on her.

Re: If you are taking DC out in the COLD this morning
We already have been out this morning. Had to go get formula, go to the post office, and drive my oldest to school. My littlest is in a sweat suit and my 2.5yr old is in a pair of jeans with a sweat shirt. I just bundled them up with thier winter coats, hats, & gloves. But I did make one mistake and that is I didn't warm up the car The car was finally warming up on my way home from running around. Should of asked for the remote start for Christmas

Jordana is in legging under her jeans, a long sleeve onsie, a tunic, her big jacket, socks and uggs in her stroller with the Bugaboo fleece on it. Of course a hat also. Mittens are in the bag, but her hands are buried in her sleeping bag-like stoller cover.

Re: If you are taking DC out in the COLD this morning
We're going to the doctor's today, so I am putting on his warm PJs (none of his outfits are warm enough IMO), and his snowsuit over that. Then, I'll put the Bundle Me in the carseat if I can figure it out, if I can't, I'll put a blanket around him and warm up the car for a bit in advance.
With all that, I think he'll be okay.

I am not going out until around 3pm, but DD is going to wear her white onesie with a fleece one over it. She'll be in her bundle me with a blanket over her chest area with a hat and mittens on.
