cool! I'm somewhat interested in marine biology too. I am obsessed with the Sousa Chinensis (AKA pink dolphin) Also, I find the glowing micro-organisms in the bio bays really interesting and jellyfish are beautiful to look at. It's cool when they find new marine species.

I want so badly to be a professional party planner. I have thrown tons of big parties for birthdays, baby showers, surprise parties etc. but Once I realized that I pulled off my whole wedding in 8 weeks under budget with everything I wanted I realized I am capable of it and realized how much I truly love it. But sadly no, my profession is nowhere close to it lol. Maybe someday.... A girl can dream right?
This is what I do for a living and you sooo can do this. Never too late!!!

I have a love of astronomy and archaeology...but I never went to college and archaeology (particularly biblical archaeology) is kinda tough for someone who's broke and wants a family and astronomy is pretty much out of the question for someone who never went to college. However, I sometimes think how cool it would be to study these things professionally and possibly be the one who finds answers to how we got here and what else is out there. How about you? what do you daydream about being / doing?
I would love to be a young adult author.
Just so you know, you can volunteer at archaeological sites. I volunteered for a summer in Israel at an ancient seaport and loved it!

I actually got an offer to work in puerto rico on an archaeological site...I was about 18...i turned it down because I was scared to leave everything including my boyfriend (now husband)  Now I have a son and it just doesn't seem realistic. Maybe when we are both older and he can fend for himself. I dunno.

I'd run my own non-profit specifically aimed at helping middle class or lower income families out of a temporary pinch by trusting them with loans at low or no interest. I'd have other services too.. job networking and connecting, small business start up advisory, low cost/pro bono legal assistance, low cost/no cost family groups, community meals that aren't aimed at being simply soup kitchens - but actual family events for people who simply don't have the extra income for that kind of stuff, coupon exchanges, etc..
Otherwise.. I'd like to be an astro-physicist or involved in quantum physics.

A lawyer. So often I have wished I had a legal back ground when doing volunteer work on human rights issues.
On a lighter side, have any of you wishing to be space scientists been following SarcasticRover on Twitter? Hilarious!

I always wanted to be a Vet.
I'm currently a family therapist but at some point I'd like to get certified in Animal Assisted Therapy as well. I'm hoping to work with animals in some form.

If I could add talent in this ideal world I would like to be a pastry chef/cake decorator. It's not so much the baking as the decoration afterward, such artistry! As an RN I'm no where near this, LOL.

I've never wanted to be anything in particular & get bored easily. But I think it would be interesting to be a personal trainer/ nutritionist & help people that way or maybe a physical therapist-- I find the human body interesting but wouldn't want to be a doctor or nurse.

In Law Enforcement.
I'm a SAHM. I backed out of NYPD (was ready to enter the academy) and stopped meeting with other agencies/departments when I met my DH. Took SCPD test eventually, but got my letter for orientation while I was pregnant with my first, so I wrote off the idea of entering law enforcement.
